Generally speaking, though, I try to assign work that gives students a deeper sense of humanity, that widens their worldviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: What was the last book you read?<br><kbd>     <\/kbd>A:\u00a0<\/strong>Annie Dillard\u2019s\u00a0<em>Pilgrim at Tinker Creek<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: What are your favorite events on campus?<br><kbd>     <\/kbd>A:\u00a0<\/strong>I most enjoy Words to Say It (our visiting writer series), any of the sports events, and the Farmer\u2019s Market on Prince Lawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: Where is your favorite place to eat on campus?<br><kbd>     <\/kbd>A:\u00a0<\/strong>If I had the time, my favorite place to eat on campus would probably be one of the tables near Wall Pond, but I\u2019m usually scarfing down a brown-bagged lunch in my office between classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: What do you enjoy most about CCU?<br><kbd>     <\/kbd>A:\u00a0<\/strong>The people\u2014colleagues and students alike.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Q: What is your area of specialty?
